Day 62: Prepare convenient Circles everywhere you habitually go

"Why do circles work? There are strange and dark powers out there that seek to influence your mind. Some call them ghosts, others call them demons, but unless they are kept at bay, they will drag you deep into psychosis. Thus the need for circles. Drawing a circle around yourself invokes protective pagan powers and establishes a psychic shield within which you are safe and in control. You may want to further secure the circle by using salt or rum. Ideally, you should aim to be able to hop from one protective circle to another for continuous protection."

I had never actually heard about this concept before. I've always kind of been into occult-type things and paganism is something I've always thought was really interesting. Since I really don't go very many places, I figured I would take the liberty of adding some circles in a place where lots of other people go.

Everybody goes to the laundry room, and especially at this school, nobody cares about anybody elses laundry. I've seen piles of laundry thrown onto the floor just so that the next person could use a dryer more quickly. I figured that if anybody needs some protection, this would be the place for it.

Day 61: Today, Find out how symmetrical You Are

"According to recent research at the Ludwig Boltmann Institute for Urban Ethnology, Vienna, symmetrical people are more attractive. These findings have since been confirmed in 112 different countries and cultures."

So I found an site that would let me upload a picture and it would do all the measurements and stuff for me.
Just upload a photo

 Add some points of reference....
aaaand yep, I broke it. I don't know if that means I'm ugly or not.
But after doing some measurements based on the reference points, I found out that my head is too wide and my nose is too long. That's always a good way to lower your own self-esteem.

Day 59: Are you Psychic?

"Today, try lifting an object with your mind."

While I couldn't actually move anything with just my mind, I pretended I had Jedi powers at the automatic door at Target. I guess that's pretty close.

Day 58: Decide what Skills to Pass onto your Family

"Families are the nuclei of society, cells of history and knowledge through which wisdom and morals are transmitted from generation to generation and beyond. What age-old traditions and skills define your family? Make a conscious effort to inculcate them in your children and grandchildren."

I think that once I have children, I definitely want to pass down some outdoors-type skills. I was in the Boy Scouts for most of my life, and I feel that the skills I learned during that time are valuable traits that will always be useful. Even with the changing of times, if you know how to keep yourself alive just using what you can in nature, you'll be much better off than somebody who doesn't know how to.

Day 57

"Today, try a food that scares you."

This biggest problem with this was trying to think of somewhere that would sell "scary" foods. Not many places around will carry anything too out-of-the-ordinary. Also, being at culinary school I've gotten try many different types of foods that some would consider scary. One thing I've never tried, however, is frog legs. Frog legs are typically the kind of "out there" food that most people would think of. And as far as scary goes,I'm not afraid to admit that I am a 6'2", 250lb man and I am terrified of frogs. I've literally ran away from a 9 year old girl chasing me with a frog for 20 minutes before. FUCK frogs. That being said, I decided that frog legs would definitely be the way to go.

Everything I've heard said that they tasted almost exactly like chicken, so why not just cook them like chicken? They actually came out extremely well. They do, as the saying goes, taste like chicken. But! Frog legs have much more meat and less bone than chicken wings, so I actually preferred these to the standard wings.
