Day 321: Bail a Stranger out of Jail

"Find out if you can truly trust in man's innate goodness. Every day thousands of petty criminals are available for release from jail pending trial, yet can't afford the relatively paltry sums necessary to post bail. Call up your local courthouse and ask for suitable cases."

I called up the local sheriff's office, which is where the county holding cells are, and asked if I could come in a bail somebody out. It turns out that for various vague legal reasons, I have to actually know the person in order to bail them out. Oh well, at least I tried.
